It’s hipster sexual politics filtered through the French New Wave in Xavier Dolan’s critically acclaimed HEARTBEATS. When Francis (Dolan) and his best friend Marie (Monia Chokri) both fall for the same guy, all bets are off as they attempt to out-manoeuvre one another to win his affections.
