Synopsis
No matter how much you lose, life is always full of possibilities. After an eventful afternoon at the beach with his brother Pietro (Allessandro Gassman), a successful executive (Nanni Moretti of The Sons Room and Caro Diario), returns to his summer home only to discover that his wife has suddenly died. Devastated, he vows to be a source of stability for their ten-year-old daughter, Claudia, while trying to make sense of his loss. But in the meantime, his company is in the midst of a high-stakes merger, with Pietros colleagues desperate to know which side hes on, and his volatile sister-in-law (Valeria Golino) has unexpected news of her own. But as he struggles to come to terms, Pietro starts to reconnect with the people around him in a deeper way and glimpses new possibilities on the horizon.
