In The Trap

Philip, a young proofreader, has been living in a self-imposed prison. Convinced that an evil force wants to take possession of his soul, he secludes himself in his childhood apartment, the only place where he thinks he’s able to keep himself safe. But a meeting with a mysteriously alluring young woman makes him question his beliefs – have the demons that have haunted him all his life been simply a product of his own imagination, or is this new temptation yet another trap the devil has set for him?

A chillingly claustrophobic take on demonic possession and the nature of faith, In the Trap is a nail-biting suspense thriller where nothing, not even salvation, is as it seems.

Key Marketing Points:

  • Starring David Bailie (Pirates of the Caribbean) and Jamie Paul (Black Mirror)
  • Directed by Alessio Liguori (Shortcut)
  • Will appeal to fans of Insidious, The Nun, and possession films

Premature

On a summer night in Harlem during her last months at home before starting college, seventeen-year-old poet Ayanna (Zora Howard) meets Isaiah (Joshua Boone), a charming music producer who has just moved to the city. It’s not long before these two artistic souls are drawn together in a passionate summer romance. But as the highs of young love give way to jealousy, suspicion, and all-too-real consequences, Ayanna must confront the complexities of the adult world—whether she is ready or not. Emotionally raw, intimate, and honest, Premature is at once timeless and bracingly contemporary in its portrait of a young woman navigating the difficult choices that can shape a life.

"A tender ballad-not just about love but age, opportunity, timing-that gets stuck in your head.” – RogerEbert.com

“It's difficult, it's scary, and it's heartbreaking at times...A rapturous heart-wrenching love story.” – TheWrap
